Transportation (Airport – Vung Tau)

Travel distance from Ho Chi Minh City to Vung Tau is only about 100 km. From Ho Chi Minh City to Vung Tau you can travel by bus/minivan or ferry/speedboat. There is no train connection between Ho Chi Minh and Vung Tau. Travel by boat/ferry takes about 1,5 hour and 2,5-3 hours by bus/minivan.

Travel distance from Tan Son Nhat International Airport (HCMC) to the venue of the International Pepper Conference located in Vung Tau City is around 100 Km by land.

One of the options to reach Vung Tau is by the use of Bus Services from Tan Son Nhat International Airport to Vung Tau which would take around 2 – 2.5 hours trip. The Bus service has the following option:

  2. 16 seaters Bus
  3. 26 seaters Bus

The Bus service cost around US$ 4 – US$ 8 or around VND 80.000 – VND 190.000 depending on the choice of Bus. The Bus service begins from 04:00 in the morning until 23:00 night with departure frequency every 30 Minutes.

The Bus service stall is located in front of the Domestic Terminal of Tan Son Nhat Airport. In order to reach Domestic Terminal kindly turn right upon exiting the International Arrival gate.

Cross the street in front of the Domestic terminal to get to the bus service stalls. There are selections of Bus services with route to Vung Tau.

Note:

Should delegates of the International Pepper Conference 2019 wish to take Taxi (meter) from Tan Son Nhat International Airport to Vung Tau, it is available at the many taxi counters outside the International Arrival Hall.
